Hello friends! This week, my tech tip is about infrastructure for your business that you probably don’t think about too much. I am talking about the web hosting company that you use to host your website. And before you click away because that sounds technical, it will be worth your time to watch and educate yourself on your options. It’s only 5 minutes, right? :)
43% of all websites out there are powered by WordPress. (W3Techs) So there is a good chance you are using WordPress behind the scenes for your website.
What a lot of people don’t know is that the web hosting company you use can have a major impact on how well your website works. There are some large names out there that you are familiar with… and their web hosting SUCKS. Not holding back here… I mean their web hosting is terrible.
There are web hosts like Flywheel that are tuned specifically to run WordPress websites. Simply switching to a web host like Flywheel can have a dramatic effect on how quickly your web pages come up in a browser. It can also make it much easier to edit the content on your website because the admin screens work so much more quickly.
