Hello friends! Last time I put a video up, the embedding process broke between my website, YouTube and my email campaign. The easy answer is to avoid video embeds in WordPress… so the image above links to my newest video, as well as the links beneath the image.
The inspiration for my Tech Tip this week was from a client looking over my shoulder, watching me doing some workflow and process stuff. One thing they noticed was that when I opened my browser, all of the tabs I use on a regular basis came up automatically. They. Were. Shocked.
After a quick discussion, I realized that my friend and client was manually opening the websites they use every time they opened their browser to start working. If you multiply that across the days, months and years, that is a lot of unnecessary clicks and typing. And you know I love helping you be more efficient!
So I showed them how to set the starting tabs to be opened any time you open your web browser. They. Are. Thrilled. And those AHA! moments are why I create these Tech Tip videos. You can learn exactly how to do this for your own browser if you watch the video. (I used Google Chrome for this example, but there is a similar process for all modern web browsers.) In a random sampling of four people, two of them had no idea this was possible. (Small sample size, I know, but convincing enough to do a video about it.)
So please take a couple of minutes to watch my video about automatically opening multiple tabs and websites that you use on a regular basis when you open your web browser. Let me know if this was helpful! And if you have any tech tips of your own to share, please send them my way to consider for a future video.
Thank you! I hope you are having a great week!
