Hello friends! My video this week is a Brain Food all about investing in yourself to start your day. Why? To set the tone for how the rest of your day may go.

Over the past couple of months, I have gotten to the point where I am burned out. I’ve said yes to too many things, there are a lot of things coming up that I can’t say no to, and it all comes together in days where I am booked from early in the morning to right before bedtime. It was not sustainable.

With input from Jason Moxness and Mic Johnson, I have set up a daily blog of time to start my mornings focused on ME. This includes a walk, some music or a podcast, a healthy breakfast and a gratitude journal.

And the result? It is starting to work. I am happier. I feel better. I don’t feel quite so overwhelmed. I am more patient. I am more thankful.
