Hello friends! This week, I wanted to share three keyboard shortcuts that might save you a bunch of time… or improve your quality of life when using your computer. :)
This is a key combination that minimizes all open applications on your desktop at once. Why does this matter? I am sure you have found yourself in a position where you have 54 open applications and you simply want to start over. Well, Window+D lets you do that. And you can press Window+D again to bring everything back as well.
You might know about this one… but if you aren’t using it regularly, this is a great reminder that it exists. CTRL+F will bring up the Search functionality in many applications. Whether you are on a website or in an Excel spreadsheet, CTRL+F will let you find all occurrences of whatever text you type in to search for.
I am sure you are familiar with CTRL+V to paste content into an application. Well, this tip is for that situation when you paste content from one application to another and the formatting gets weird. For example, if you copy content (CTRL+C) from Microsoft Word and then paste it (CTRL+V) into a WordPress blog post or page of content, all kinds of weird formatting things can start happening. SHIFT+CTRL+V is a modifier to CTRL+V that pastes the content without formatting. I use this… every day.
Please watch the video to see exactly how to use these keyboard shortcuts (and my smiling face.) And if you know someone that could benefit from the content I put out, please consider forwarding this to a friend. I would really appreciate it!
