In this week’s video, I talk through one of the biggest challenges people have when it comes to making the most out of LinkedIn… Content.
Sure, most people actively using LinkedIn now have good profile photos, a cool banner image, a few hundred connections… and they never post a status update. Nothing but a sea of “Likes”. (I’ve talked about the power of Comments over Likes on LinkedIn previously.)
And recently, this topic has come up a LOT, so I figured it was time to dig in. I am going to walk you through part of my LinkedIn training in this video. I hope you will take the time to watch and really pay attention. It MIGHT be one of the simplest ways to up your game with original content when doing status updates on LinkedIn.
So get your calendar and photo gallery handy and watch the video! Let me know in the comments if you like this one. Just so you know, a 10-12 minute video takes about 3 hours to produce… so it would help me out to hear from you.
As always dear reader, thank you for being part of my journey. I appreciate you.

Jason,
It was a helpful video to me, although I don’t use LinkedIn, I was thinking more generally about Instagram, FB, and a blog. It has been tough coming up with stories so it helps to think of “buckets.”
My intention (and business I suppose) is to get people to disconnect from distractions as a yoga and meditation teacher, so there’s always a dissonance between staying relevant through social media and living the way I teach!
Regardless these suggestions will factor into my efforts to be relatable without losing center.
