Topify – Easy email management of your Twitter contacts

People are still trying to figure out the best way to leverage Twitter.  It is a good idea to just get started and connecting to people.  As I grow my Twitter network, I have found that it is tedious to log in to Twitter each time someone “follows” me on Twitter.  I want to make sure people that are following me are reputable and not spamming, selling, or offering something that I don’t want to be associated with.

Enter Topify.  Topify is a great concept.  You sign up for a free Topify account and supply your Twitter username and password.  Then, when someone follows you on Twitter, you automatically get an email notifying you that someone new has followed you.  The email also includes the biography and statistics on that person that quickly let you know whether or not you would want to be associated with them.  Simply reply to the email with anything and Topify follows that person back automatically.  There are links in the email that allow you to follow or block the person easily.
